Jamie Lee Curtis told informed US publication AARP that she has “watched in surprise and pleasure as our son changed into our daughter Ruby”.
The 62-year-old shares her daughter, reportedly previously referred to as Thomas, with husband Christopher Guest, 73.
She explained that she and Guest “have watched in marvel and pleasure as our son was our daughter Ruby.
“And she and her fiancé will get married subsequent 12 months at a wedding that I can officiate.”
AARP says it shared Curtis’s revelation “with her more youthful kid’s permission”, adding that Ruby, now elderly 25, works as a pc gaming editor.
Older sister Annie, 34, is married and a dance teacher.
Curtis says she has no grandchildren: “Not but, however I do hope to.”
