Jennifer Beals was born on December 19, 1963 in Chicago, Illinois, United States. She was inspired to be an actress when she joined the college production of Fiddler at the Roof.
After graduating from Francis W. Parker School, she was once authorized at the prestigious Goodman Theatre Young People’s Drama Workshop. She then studied at Yale University the place she earned her B.A. in American Literature.
